In the northern part of the Peninsula Pouch, the shore will get a patchwork-skin.
The shape of the landscape ´´Goitzsche`` was changed several
times. Now, the landscape will be a part of art, its ´´skin``
shall avoid forgetting the past history.
About 30 areas different in colour and in material shall justify this
process of recollection. Barren areas are a contrast to overgrown ones,
trees and bushes create waves, a balast area follows typical plants of
the landscape, in a field, rails as piles shall be rammed into soil and
rust and in that way remind us of the mining interventions, a linden tree
(symbolizing a village linden tree) on a depositted hill shall remind us
of the villages which were excavated.
These contrasts create a field of suspense similar to the contradictory
history of the ´´Goitzsche``.
